The temple of Aboudiotissa (or Ammoudiotissa) is located between the settlements of Ano and Kato Seta, where a small paved road will lead you, and is located in the tourist area of Amarinthos.
The area is a plateau of 890 meters and is enchanting, full of plane trees, gurgling waters, wild apples and wild pears.
The historical church, built in the 19th century, celebrates the Nine Days of the Virgin. According to tradition, the temple was a hideout for the warriors of the Revolution of 1821.
Unfortunately, only a few parts of his iconography survive today. Later, the church of the Holy Trinity was built next to the temple.
In the vicinity of the two churches there are wooden tables and benches, as well as a stone spring from which crystal clear water flows from the mountain, so do not miss the opportunity to rest here to enjoy the beautiful scenery.
