Kalamos beach is a beautiful beach with turquoise waters and white sand washed by the Aegean Sea. There are two small successive beaches, i.e. there are two coves separated by a rock. The first beach is called by the locals "Kali" because the waters are usually calmer, while the second one is called "Kakia" because the waters are usually more "wild".
On the first beach you will find some cafes and taverns, while the second one, which is just a few meters from the first one, is mainly preferred for free camping scenes. The sea deepens relatively steeply in the first steps and there is thick white sand both on the beach and in the sea.
